I have two Cameroun Fan Shrimps in one of my tanks. One of them seems to not be doing very much, not feeding and spending much of the time lying on its side on the gravel. I picked it up to examine it and it didn't really try to move much then. When I put it back in it did move a bit but not much.
It also has some tiny brown spots on its shell but I've no idea if they are natural colouration or not.
How do you tell if a shrimp is ill?
I know very little about shrimp illnesses and how to spot them!

How long have you had him? When they moult they sometimes go off food. If he's not due to moult, it doesn't sound very good. Sad
