Hi,
I've read the manual on a few automatic fish feeders that say not to use rechargable batteries. Is there a reason why not? I know NMH batteries don't hold their charge as well as Alkalines, but for a week, maybe even two, they should hold up.

Are there other reasons?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Eric

From my experience with rechargeables-I have about 16 on charge at all times!-they don't give you any warning before they go completely flat, whereas the alkalines go flat slowly, so don't let you down unexpectedly. Question
