I have read the cycling stuff...but I wanted to know how long I should let the new 29 gallon ( sold as 35...lol) should cycle before I can put my betta in it.

I am going to put his old grvel from the 10 gallon in it, and his old water...(30%) in it,,,,anything else?

It will be the betta only...no other fishes.

usually tanks should cycle for atleast a month.
when I first got my 20G tank I put my betta in it during the cycling process and it was fine

You should be able to put him in immediately if you're using gravel from his old setup. It would be good to also rinse out the filter media from the old filter into the new tank too. Do that, let the water clear, then put Mr. Betta in there.

When I rinse the filter, I use water from the tank right? Also...since it's a 29 gallon, can I just put the water from the 10 gallon in it, or should I just use 30%?
