My tank has been set up for about two weeks now. It's in the middle of cycling (it just reached the nitrite spike Very Happy ) and all of a sudden I have cloudy water. Is this just a bacterial bloom or is it something else. I don't think I should do a water change because this could mess up the cycling(right???).[/b]

(Oh yeah. And there aren't any fish right now, I'm doing fishless cycling)

you can do a water change. you can also try a flaculent (disreguard my horrific spelling).
what does the water look like? is it turning green or something. I had a major freefloating alge bloom once while cycleing a tank, I put in a little flaculent and the next morning it was crystal clear. Then I just did some gravel vac'ing and everthing was fine.

Then just give it till the cycling done before you worry about water cloudiness.
