Hey guys, like I said I'm 15 and really new to this fish stuff, but I gotta say its just as fun as playing sports, and more comfortable since u can do it at home, but I was just wondering if Cory catfish get along with Swordtails and Platies, I wanted to get like maybe just one to clean the bottom of my tank, thanks, Joey _________________ -Joey, aka, AsianSensation, you know it

| Yes, they get along well with them, however you should get more than 1, preferably at least 3, since they are shoaling fish, so they prefer company of their own kind. |

Make sure the tank is fully cycled and mature before you add any Corydoras Cats.
They are very sensitive to new tanks and will not settle in too well if it is not matured. Also make sure you dechlorinate the water too as they will not tolerate Chlorine/Chloramines in the tapwater. |

Sorry about this, but we are talking about a 5 gallon uncycled tank here, that is already overstocked.
Cory's need a well matured tank, they are a shoaling fish (Need to be in groups of 5 or more) in a much larger tank.
You cannot put any more fish in your tank.
