my big female cherry shrimp just gave birth to a lot of baby shrimp. cherrys don't need saltwater to survive as babies, they're all freshwater. does anyone have any experience with raising little shrimp? right now I'm feeding them blue-green algae (doubt they'll eat it but it provides cover), dried seweed, sinking pellets, and a crushed baby snail. they're in a breeder net.

How exciting! I tried breeding amanos for awhile, but had to take a break and needed to do more research about their salinity requirements.

Dusko had great success breeding his Cherry Red Shrimp. Try doing a search for his posts - I think he had it the Photo Gallery forum.
