| Does anyone have experience mixing these two types? There is one mention of incompatibility in the Zebra gallery description. Thanks! |

Most Loaches are easy going shoaling fish, they are a bit like Cory's in that, although they will often mix with other Loaches (Well at least share the same enviromant etc) they are happier, and more interesting in same species shoals, I would choose one species, but get more, unless you are talking about a large enough tank to have two larger and seperate shoals.

Thanks for the advice! Until I upgrade my tank, I'll stick with my YoYos. I've never had fish with such personality! My only complaint is that one of them has discovered that he can leap "upstream" onto my Whisper filter downspout. I need to figure out how to block that.

I have 3 YoYo's, 1 zebra and 2 clowns in my 80 gallon and they are fine together. Occasionally the zebra will feel the need to exert his strength, but he is bigger than all the yoyo's so I attribute this to a ranking disput, rather than incompatibility. They all seem happy and unstressed.
Good luck, they are both fun species!
Peace

I wish I had some Yoyos. I love those fish.
