I've had an anubias nana in my tank for a while now. it's a slow grower and it's in a tank with less then 1 watt per gallon, no CO2 injection, and no fertilizer other then a weekly dose of flourish excel. not the best growing conditions, but it's grown 2 new leaves. the plant has always looked kind of cramped with the leaves all overlapping each other and ever since the new leaves came out, the old leaves have been even more cramped and bunched together. my question is, can you cut the plant in half along the rhizome, plant the separate cutting, and have 2 plants?

I've cut my nanas in half as well. So long as each side of the plant has a good amount of rhizome and roots, you should be okay.
