Alright, I'm planning on a heavily planted 20g long, and I was wondering what would be better for lighting it up, my two choices are either 1 65W Compact Flourescent fixture, or two 20W Normal Output Flourescent fixtures. I know you may be thinking the obvious answer is the higher wattage, but I do NOT want to inject CO2, and I heard that if you have over 2 WPG that CO2 is a must.

Any advice?

With the 65wattcf CO2 is a must... if you don't want to run CO2 go with the 2x20no.

Google 'Diana Walstad' for setting up a low light tank and check out her book Ecology Of The Planted Aquaria.

Also check out Steve Hampton's site... Low Light Low Tech Tanks
