Heres a shot of another female ( I have 2)

is your camera quite high speed? your pics are really crisp (and focused well on their target)

I was taking some photos of my 'empty' tank (no fish - tomorrow will though Very Happy ) and most of them were blurry. I'm not sure if this is due to the camera - or just perhaps movement when I press the button.

Grrr... I have the same problem with my new camera (Kodak EasyShare C643). I think it's a lighting problem, actually. I can take beautiful, crisp closeups of my own toes (every piece of lint and fuzz... on my socks, not my bare feet, mind Rolling Eyes ), but all my tank photos turn out blurry. Thinking about hyper-illuminating the tank. I'm not willing to post a crappy, blurry picture!
Your pics look awesome. Love your loaches. You captured some of their comic personality in those shots! The duckweed pics are great, too. Keep 'em coming!

Trust me guys a majority of them are gonna come out blurry, no camera captures perfect fish pictures with ease. My girlfriends dad has a 2000$ camera and he has to take the same amount of pics as I do to get a few good ones! Follow my mini guide and it will work just keep shooting and I guarantee they will come out the dame if not better. Also go into your camera settings learn about them. Set the pictures to "super fine". Little tweaks you can do to take better pics will help a bit, but you need patience. Tell me when you guys post some of them, want to see them!

WHOOOOOO good news guys, the kribs in the picture spawned this morning!! On the walls of the rock cave! I can't get over how big the eggs are compared to my angel fish!!! I'm gonna post some pics as soon as I get a chance.

Congrats on the eggs! Those females are probably soooo relieved, hehehe. (They looked like I felt those last few weeks... TMI?) Can't wait for pictures. Smile

Oh and I understand what you mean about your fish's colors being so much nicer in real life. I've seen pictures of rainbowfish online and was never that impressed by them. Then I saw a tank of them at my LFS.... Shocked
