I have a 10 gallon, lightly planted tank that is in the middle of cycling but will be done (hopefully) in a few more weeks. Right now I have a few zebra danios, a couple of cherry barbs, a ghost shrimp, and a snail. I plan to get rid of the zebra danios and keep the 2 cherry barbs and shrimp. I have a male crowntail betta in a 1 gallon tank that I will move to the 10 gallon as soon as it's done cycling. Any suggestions on what else I could put in there or will that be more than enough?
**Edited to add: My betta seems very peaceful. I have 1 ghost shrimp in his tank and the ghost shrimp will actually swim up and pester him. I thought for sure that the betta would eat the shrimp but instead he turns and swims the other way! |

Seeing your a begginner, I would not stock too heavily. Just keep what you have for now with the betta in, not sure if the cherry barbs will work in a 10 gal, I am sure you will get more posts. |

Is this the same tank you asked about in this thread? If so, you were given all the information you needed there, including appropriate stocking levels for this tank. : ) _________________ What color is your straitjacket? |
