Mine is to quit trying to lower the pH in my 75l: I've tried everything short of battery acid to no avail. It's quite frustrating...
How about you guys? _________________

Get rid of all the damn algae or clear out the current one and at least migrate to the next type. Also get the plants to flourish |

Me? Yup. Also tried a multitude of chemicals... it's more fuss than it's worth and none of my fish seem to have a problem with the current water... I guess I'll just never be able to keep Discus. _________________

there is one method that's pretty much guaranteed to work, although it's very expensive. you can use reverse osmosis water. _________________ New to fishkeeping? Click the banner

I agree with DF, RO water mixed with your normal water should get you just about any pH level you want.
I would steer clear of chemicals.
My resolution is to try and be more understanding when aswering questions on fish keeping forums

I don't know a lot about RO but I've tried to steer away from it because it creates SO much waste water it seems like it's bordering on unethical...
I've been thinking about buying distilled water and dilluting my water with that but it seems like a lot of work considering all my fish look wonderful in the current pH and hardness. _________________
