Hi!

I have a 80 Lts tank. I only keep live plants in my aquarium. I maintain Temp @ 32.c. I have a Thermostat and I have an Aquarium light of 20 watts on for minimum 3-4 hours a day. Inspite of all this my plants are not happy. cAN ADDING co2 HELP THE SITUATION? If so then how to administer the dosage? What are its effects on my fishes?I have common sword variety as my Aaquatic plants. I want to make in my tank a plush natural carpet with plants. for that I am looking for Dwarf Grass or Eleocharis parvula. Pls let me know where can I find it and also help me to solve these problems.

Take a few minutes and read my Guide. The answers to questions you have not even thought to ask are there.

But I can tell you that you don't have enough light. 20 watts over 80 liters is a very low light tank.

Hello Debarghya,

Well first off I hope you had a nice christmas. Next I noticed that the temperature in your tank is 89.6 wow I think that this may be some of your problem. I am not an expert but I don't think that fish or plants like that kind of heat. I also suggest you do a little more research on plants. The guide rex has helped me a lot and also look up dusko's site I don't remember the address but it will also tell you how to setup your tank. Have a nice day.
