What do you guys prefer, football or rugby?
I personnaly choose football. Some poeple play the "Rugby is rougher" card though. And you know what? Rugby is way rougher! Ill admit it. But you know what else? Rugby is just barbaric compared to football, which is both a strategical and physical sport. |

I prefer football because I don't get cauliflowered ears. Rugby is pretty intense though. Youve gotta love the scrum |

I'll take NFL Football... what can I say, I'm yank.
However, I did live in Canada for 2 years while in High School and played rugby and football. Rugby was a lot of fun to play, more fun to play than football. _________________ "I'm a vehemently anti-nuclear, paranoid mess, harbouring a strange obsession with radioactive sheep." |

Do you meen football or american style football like nfl kind. I prefer football over american style football, but I also prefer that over rugby. I just never really got that into rugby. And while we are on the subject, what about Australian Rules Football? |

Yes, American style football. With COLLISIONS!
One reason I think rugby is barbaric and stupid is because, everytime I see it (which adds up to around 2 times) they always get in a big pile and shove each other around. In American football, speed is key. |

'Sup. I haven't posted here in ages. Anyway, I like American football better. But, then again, I don't really know anything about rugby. My guess is that it is the same basic concept as hockey, soccer, and basketball(get item through net at end of field). If my guess is correct, then American football is much more of a strategic sport. _________________ I would like to acknowledge that all of the info I give is purely based on research. |

Rugby is a real mans game . No offence to the americans here, I know you're 'foot' ball is fairly rough, but whats with the body armor ? Nah, can't beat a game of rugby, on a wet and muddy pitch. Small people can play rugby aswell, as speed is also a huge asset in rugby (which is the only way I can play ). It's as british as it gets, rough, tough and insane. We aint really all tea and crumpets you know .
