Can you get a picture?

I can't tell you what's wrong, but to help the fish you should do extra water changes (25% daily wouldn't be bad), feed a good quality protein food, and maybe add some NovAqua+ to help the fish heal. It might just recover on its own. Watch carefully for swelling, pus, redness... all signs of bacterial infection. Frequent water changes can prevent infection.

We also need to know:

Quote:
2.) ... how long it's been set up. Filtration type, gravel depth and type, decor. Do you have live plants?

3.) Temperature ....

6.) Anything noteworthy or changed within the past month.

Thanks for your cooperation! This information will greatly assist us in helping you.

Also what method did you use to cycle the tank?

What do you use for water conditioner?
