So what is the stupidest question you guys have ever seen on this forum or another.
In another forum I use I once saw some kid ask if you could keep fish in a toilet bowl if you put something in front of the hole to keep them from swimming out . hahaha |

Not sure what the dumbest question ever asked was...but I know a dumb one to ask would be:
Can spitting in your fish tank help the cycling process along? _________________ "I'm a vehemently anti-nuclear, paranoid mess, harbouring a strange obsession with radioactive sheep." |

haha, omg that's actually pretty cool....but not sure why you wouldn't just buy a normal aquarium if you wanted one. That way you could see it at all times rather than just when you're taking a crap. |

besides, it's behind you so how will you look at it then? also, I doubt you'd be very proud of having to take your guests to the washroom to show them your tank. still, it's a novelty, and I doubt any "real" fish keepers would buy it. _________________ New to fishkeeping? Click the banner

I didn't go to the link, but its been posted so many times I tihnk I know the one. The tank is seperate to the flushing water. It has an internal wall to keep them apart. That's probably its only saving grace
As for stupid questions... I don' t know about you, but if I were a beginner and joining this site this topic may make me leave... not nice to be laughed at if you really just don't know things. If someone have given you some advice, and you are not sure and you ask, it is better to be put straight nicely than laughed about... JMHO.

I agree with anna ^ , I don't think any question is a stupid question, Better to ask then be sorry, The other day for example, I had no idea that a 7 inch gold fish with large fins (forget what its called, I dislike goldfish) couldent be in a 30 gallon fish tank. But I felt stupid not knowing something about a goldfish. just my two cents _________________ "Smooth On The Surface, Fast as Hell Under The Water" |

I disagree. I'm a firm believer you CAN ask a stupid question. There are some things that everyone should know just out of plain common sense.
Asking if you can keep fish in the toilet as long as you don't pee in it and block the hole is an idiotic question, I'm sorry . |
