Thanks for all the advice guys. I went out and bought a Red Devil on Saturday. I have to admit that I bought an Albino Tiger Oscar aswell for the same tank. That was on Saturday. It's now Monday and I've finally admitted that I was wrong trying to have both these fish together. So I have taken the Oscar back to the store. I feel better now that I have, so now I can give the Red Devil my full attention and the tank space he requires. He will be King of the Tank. Obviously.
Seeing that puts an end to this Forum topic about whether I could put those 2 fish together. I'd now like to know...
What would be a good name for my Red Devil.
I'm unsure whether it is a boy or a girl because it is so young, so therefore it would need to be something like "Red or Spike or Fred. Etc. you get my point.
I'd love to have your thoughts and ideas and I'll name my Red Devil in honour of the best thought up name.
Start thinking guys. thanks.

OOPS unless you're a Major League Baseball fan you might not get that one. Pete Rose (FYI) was a ball player for the Cincinnatti Reds and got caught gambling on his own team. He was then kicked out of baseball. Just saw you posted from Australlia....sorry Would've been a cool name _________________ "id rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotamy" |

Pete Rose was a great player who made some dumb choices at the end of his career. We saw him play with the Phillies when we lived there, and then with the Reds when we moved to Cincinnati. He was over 40 years old by then, and still one of the greats, but probably looking at the end of the line.
However, that is not what Lynx Days is asking!
Lynx, is the fish in that little 100 x 75 pic your red devil?
I thought they were red. Marcos needs another pic of a red devil for the fish profiles gallery. Why don't you post a larger, clearer photo of your fish?
I think we all need to see it better before coming up with a name.
Deborah

| Hi Deborah, yes that little guy is my new Red Devil. He...or she.. Is only a juvenile. Soon it will start to lose its dark colouring and malt from head to tail and turn a really light colour, cream-ish. Then when it gets older it could turn orange, or red. But I hope mine stays cream coloured. I like that colour in fish. |

By the way Pete Rose is the only suggested name I have to far. So think of some more so I can select one that best suits him/her.
I also can't get the photo any bigger. |

I know it sounds rather generic lol, but why don't you name your fish after your own lil user name ?Lynx is a great name that could be used regardless of colour, I mean I'd go for it
