Hello All,
I recently purchased two female Barlett Anthias. I was told two females. Both fish get along with each other and all tank mates. Both ate well for the first three days however, the larger or the two had developed red down three of the lower belly spikes, will not eat and dosen't swim anymore. Just sits there trying not to float upside down!! PLEASE, any help would be greatly appreciated. The other Anthias is a champ, no side effects what so ever.

The outlook is dim I am afraid. My guess is these were not put in QT before they were put into the display? My hope is the other one doesn't contract the same thing as well as any other fish in the tank.

Welcome to the forum. Please tell us about your setup.

We have a 75 gal reef set up. about 70 lbs of live rock, two back pack filters a protien skimmer and 300w ti heater. Would like to get into a DIY sump set up. Currently figuring out the legistics behind them. I would be suprised if the Anthias makes it throught the night. Her friend the other Anthias just ate like a champ so fingers crossed...
