500 gallons.

I'd have a shoal of clown loaches, rainbow fish, columbian tetras, a few pictus cats...

Or maybe Black Ghost knifes, or an arrowana or two.

Not quite sure what size I would need, but big enough to have shoals of small fish. Got to go work out what I would like now. Laughing

Ha... you guys are thinking too small. I would want an entire public aquarium, except, I would make it private! It would all be mine! Twisted Evil

No, I wouldn't do that. Maybe 1000 gallons would be nice. I have always wanted to be able to properly house a couple red bellied pacus!

well, I would want some thing big in my aquarium, like...eels and stingrays or something. Maybe a pleco, or a shark catfish, or I dunno.

I would like like 2000 gallons and you could walk in it and be like a tunnul and be like one with the fish.

The thought of the cost of running and maintaining a tank of 1000-2000gal is quite scary. Shocked

I'm obviously a simple man with simple needs, because my dream tank (well one of two) would be about 200gal, heavily planted.

The other tank would be about a 100gal, sparsly planted with a HUGE piece of bog wood.

Although I still have no idea what I'd have stock, wise.... Idea .....I'm off to the gallery to work that one out.

My dream tank is a tank built into a wall of my house, large enough (400g?) for a shoal of about 15 red bellied piranhas.

I'd like a public aquarium, but for home, 200 gallons is the threshold of what I'd be prepared to do. a south american biotope would be awesome.... arowanas, black ghost knives, or maybe a community 200 gallon with every fish that I love but can't be put in a 20 gallon tank.
