I just did a water change. When I was pouring the water back in, I poured it closed to the ricordea. It closed up which I wasn't too surprised about but 2 of the 3 mushrooms also show some white things coming out of them now. I removed the coral from the tank out of fear that it might poison the tank. Anybody know what it is? I don't really know how else to explain it.

If it stringly looking white things it is just slime from the new water irritating them, if it isn't I have no idea w/o a pic.

It cleared up. I put it back into the tank. It was stringy by the way. I've never known it to do that. Thanks sirreal.

was it from it's mouth? sort of like the mouth turned inside out?

I see mine puke every once in awhile. its how they get rid of waste or you ticked it off.

Yeah I seem to be good at ticking people/things off. Anyways, I decided to make that entire side of the tank where the ricordea is just for ricordea and other mushrooms. Just yesterday I got an awesome looking super green ricordea. It hasn't opened up as much as the other ricordea is open just yet but it's well on its way.
