I am just starting the cycle for my saltwater now (it's been up for 1 week today) and I'm wondering about pH for Ocellaris Clownfish. Right now I'm at the 8.0 mark. Other than the clowns I will only have inverts in the tank.

Anything from about 8.0 to 8.4 should be fine. The important thing is to keep the pH stable rather than hit a specific value.

That's great, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I really didn't want to get into pH up or pH down in my saltwater.

Thanks!
