| I don't have an overflow. So, I think it's safe to say he's either died or the anemone has had an expensive snack. Can all anemones eat fish? |

Yep, pretty much... that's why Clownfish find them so protective...
in fact, some anemones can even give humans a nasty sting. _________________ Keepin' marines happy for 25 years |

I keep Mollies in my tank as an alternate food source, they breed rapidly and the fry help feed the fish. Mollies are also surface scum feeders and will eat algae. I have found the black ones the hardiest and the full strength salt cuases them to breed more often.
I am sorry about your fish, most reef fish have learned to avoid anemone's but it still happens or there wouldn't be anemone's on reefs. It is just nature doing it's thing. We learn to live with it. _________________ Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...

Yeah, I can't really explain why Roger would have gone near the anemone because he never used to go anywhere near it. But, it seems to be the only logical explanation. Maybe he became disoriented at night and accidently swam in. I'm really not sure.
I'd never even contemplated Mollies in a salt water tank. Sounds like a great idea though. I suppose the fry would also feed the corals as well.
Thanks to everyone for all of the advice - I really do appreciate it |

while we're talking about transitional fish... Has anyone heard of bumble bee gobies being kept in full marine environments (1.024)? |
