Hey everyone,
I was thinking about getting a salt water tank but I have only had freshwater tanks.I am planning on getting some angels to go in it how big of a tank would be recomended for an angel also I don't know how to add salt or even what kind to use or how much. Are ther salt water filters or do I just use a fresh water filter. If any one knows some good saltwater info sites besides this one pleas do tell!!!.Thanks A Lot

Depends on the angels. Some dwarf angels only grow to a few inches long and can be housed in a tank as small as 30 gallons.
OTOH, large marine angels (I.e Korans, Queens, Emperors, etc) grow over a foot in length and need well over 100 gallons.
Your best bet is to start by reading the articles on this site and/or get a book on marine fish keeping. |
