Hello all...last week I purchased a few pieces of live rock from LFS...this is my first experience...I've only had FO tanks but would like to replace my plastic decor with a more natural look...I've made some DIY reef rocks and would eventually like to introduce into my tank seeded with the live rock if all goes well...I noticed an orange smooth growth on the rock that almost seems to be painted on, spreading on the rock...what is this and is it a good sign or a bad sign...I would appreciate any advice...thanks CRETE...
