All I see is a fish-haver trying to mask his ignorance. I can't believe someone would do that. Even if it does convert the nitrate into a gas and remove it from the system, all of those fish will literally not fit in that tank.
Also, it is easy for someone to say their nitrates are 0. For them to be 0 is another matter.
It looks like a hoax to me, and if not, why don't I have it?  _________________

thats just rather disturbing. so many fish in such a small tank and considering the full grown size of most of those fish. I personally woudn't keep a fish in such a small tank.
the only way you could almost instantly cycle a tank would be if say you knew some one with a saltwater that had some sortof bacterial filtration other than their live rock ect. you could take some of the media from their filter and add it to yours which would introduce a large amount of bacteria. I would still add a small amount of seafood to make sure the filters running properly and monitor the ammonia,nitrite and nitrate levels.
