I don't know if this is true or not but I have heard that u can use regual salt from the store in your tank ,is that true? I had one pet store tell me that..

Hi dragonchic3.

For a marine salt water tank the answer is.......... No.

Ther are many macro and micro elements such as calcium, magnesium etc... that are balanced in salt water mixes. Fish, inverts and corals need these elements to grow and survive.
