Hey, I'm very close to buying my materials for making my sump/overflow box. I need to find out how submerged I need the ASM G3 Skimmer to be for operation. This will effect the height of my baffle. _________________ I would like to acknowledge that all of the info I give is purely based on research. |

8-10" submerged. If you get one also have the recirculation mod and gatevalve done to it, it will make it much more effecient. _________________ Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...

I have no idea what those mods do, but I take that you know what your doing. If I get that gate valve mod at 4 o'clock, what does that make my water level? _________________ I would like to acknowledge that all of the info I give is purely based on research. |

The gate valve lets you have precise control over the water and foam level. It makes dialing in for wet or dry skimmate easier. The recirculating mod greatly increases the contact time for the bubbles. You can easily double the performance capabilities of the skimmer with those two mods. _________________ Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...

You cannot change the gate valve mod, it attaches to the normal exit pipe of the skimmer, you can change the location of the inlet feed for the feed pump with the recirc mod to any position you wish. I suggest you call Rob as asmskimmer and talk to him about what you are wanting done and the drilling position. _________________ Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...

I'll just order it with the mods and not adjust anything. I'll cut peices of acrylic to hold it to the right height. _________________ I would like to acknowledge that all of the info I give is purely based on research. |
