thanks guys for the reply!....didn't know to use copper in quarantine tank only....once I get the cooper removed heres what id like to do....I would like to make some reef rocks for my tank then seed with indo pacific coralline algae spores(or if anyone has a better place to get algae spores) and start adding purple up....even though I treated tank with cooper will this be OK to do?

Yes it will be fine but know that most home made rock needs to cure in fresh water for many months so the chemicals can leach out before it is safe to use.
Out on the road today...I saw a DeadHead sticker on a Cadillac...
