My tank gets so dirty so quickly. I only have two fancy tail goldfish in it but I have heard they are the dirtiest fish! But its mainly the green and brown algae that grows all over the glass. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

We will need a bit more information than that. Wink How big is the tank? How big are the fish? How often do you feed? How often do you do watyer changes and gravel vacuumings?

I agree with Michael.

From experience I have found that the brown alga disappears after the tank has settled, to put it simply.
