This is going to be my setup in a 20 gallon, heavely planted aquarium:

- 8 Schoolers ( Small tetras like Neons, Phantom, Rummynoses, etc. Or Harlequins, still need to decide)
- 1 Dwarf Gouramis
- 1 Zebra Loach

I was thinking of having these types of killifish:

1. Golden Lyretail Panchax Killifish

2. Clown Killifish

3. Amiet's Lyretail Killifish

4. Red Striped Killifish

any of those should be alirght, just don't mix them and watch for agression between the killie and the gourami... I've kept them with a betta without to much problems, but that was in a bigger tank..

And though I love those clown killies, you may want to stick with a bigger species for that tank, those little guys just stay way to small (never seen them over an inch, despite what that site says)

hope this helps!

Oh yeah, and make sure any fish you get is atleast half the killie size, they love to try and eat anything.. including each other (my 5 dollar golden wonder ate a piar of my 80 dollar gardenri).. Man I'm dumb

I have been following this thread and wonder if you have a source for these neat little fish? They are not usually easy to come by in local stores except for the larger species such as Golden Wonder and a few others. Those you have named usually have to be purchased from a Killie breeder and then usually only in egg form. It's very unlikely you would be able to purchase a single male. Also they are mostly maintained in a species tank.
