I know most of you short posted, but I must set the record straight. I am a Christian, no ifs, ands, or well, you get the picture. What I don't understand is why none of the youth or any of you older folks have picked up on some of these names, just purely for the music and style:
Thousand Foot Krutch
Pillar
Kutless
Skillet
Disciple
TobyMac
Stellar Kart
Project 86 (even though I'm not a fan of screaming)
Now don't get me wrong, I also like the classic popular bands like:
ACDC
Metallica
Guns N Roses
Queen
The Eagles
I just can't get into this new age punk/emo/cut my wrists to bleed stuff. It's depressing and does nothing but put weird thoughts in your mind. Try some of the above. I'm a HUGE Thousand Foot Krutch fan. Check them out. Here's a link in fact for YouTube.

Well I'm still into Paramore.
An interesting song I just heard on the radio is Sweet child o mine, by GNR _________________ God created all the fish in the sea, he just gave some more than others, cichlids rule!

Interesting? Heh. When I was half the age I am now, that song (and band) was all over the place. Are they considered classic rock yet? I'll be shedding some tears the day that happens. Ah well.

I'm pretty sure they are classic rock now, not in the sense that they're old, but that they are classic, and rock. So no need to cry

Ha! Thanks for the reassurance.
Hard for me to find new music coming out these days I'm into, though I do very much enjoy one group from my hometown, The White Stripes. Used to watch them at the Magic Stick in downtown Detroit all the time before they finally made it.

Jet
the darkness
actually, I can't think of any others.
I do have a Jet album. It's alright, a little contrived.
