I listen to the music thats out now, since I'm 15 my favorite bands and artists are All American Rejects, Bowling for Soup, Akon, Chris Brown, Good Charolette, and Hinder
Yeah, just got All American Rejects' Move Along CD. I don't usually listen to that type of music, but I'm trying to open myself to new genres, so..... Anyway, it was awesome. How was their first CD, btw?
ANYWAY...
To answer the question, my favorite band would have to be the Dixie Chicks. I like the direction their music is going now (not very country at all anymore). I also like what they've come to stand for - freedom of speech and whatnot. They won all five of their Grammy nominations, so I was sitting there like _________________ "I know human being and fish can CO2-exist peacefully." -- George W. Bush

Want me to keep going? I could go on for about an hour more.
Way too many bands for me to list... one that really needs mention though would have to be X Japan. Unparalleled musicians. The composition, the drums, the piano, the guitarists, the bassist... mind blowing and revolutionary in their time. And their story is also something else.
Rammstein, Celldweller and Lacuna Coil top my list. A few others are Zeromancer, Godsmack, Metallica and Stone Sour (Except for that stupid Through Glass song).
Excellent choices I didn't know someone else knew Celldweller. I love Rammstein. If you like them, you'd like Megaherz and Eisbrecher. They top my list with KMFDM, Wolfsheim and the New Agie music project ENIGMA. Some other bands/artists I like are Rob Zombie, VNV Nation, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Hanzel Und Gretyl... _________________ In it for the long haul...it's a learning experience.

Wow Liebesleid ("love song" ), you listen to ALL the same underground music as my husband!!! Rammstein is his all-time favorite, and I am a huge fan too. Till Lindemann is the HOTTEST man alive!!!
If you haven't already, try E Nomine, Helium Vola, Assemblage 23, Project Pitchfork, Funker Vogt, Haujobb, Covenant, Evil's Toy, & Blut Engel. Are you familiar with any of these?
(he even has Hanzel & Gretel--never thought I'd run into someone else with THAT cd LOL)
I don't recognize most of those names - so I'll show my age here: Dave Matthews, REM, Eric Clapton, 10,000 Maniacs/Natalie Merchant, Tom Petty, Dire Straits/Knopfler, Fleetwood Mac, Genesis/Phil Collins, Suzanne Vega
So now the question is, how many people here recognize any of the above?

Fleetwood Mac. I love their songs Landslide, Go Your Own Way, The Chain... yeah, they're great. And Stevie Nicks' Sorcer was good, too. _________________ "I know human being and fish can CO2-exist peacefully." -- George W. Bush
