I have a couple of questions...
1) Are goldfish hardy?
2) Can they be kept in a tank with swordtails, & otos? _________________ Wisdom isnt measured in how much you know, its how dedicated you are to learning..

Your tank is a 20 gallon right? A 20 gallon is too small for a goldfish. Plus, they require different temps, food, and more than swordtails and ottos. So, goldfish can't be kept with ottos and swordtails.
Not to be rude, but before posting, you may want to read previous topics and do research. |

Hi JayJay
1) Yes goldfish are generally considered to be hardy, but this does not mean that they can be subjected to bad quality water.
2) Technically yes, but for all practical reasons no, they are best kept in separate tanks. As the goldfish grows, it may in any case, pose a threat to the ottos.
