I going to setup my tank soon for the Yellow Labs I plan on getting, however I want to do this tank properly and would like to make a rock formation similar to what has been created in the links below -

I was going to buy some silicone sealant from pets at home, to use to stick the rocks together. Does anyone have any tips for doing this, as I've never tried this before, so I want to do it properly.

Thanks Very Happy

I didn't use sealent with my rocks. I just kind of piled them up and shock the tank a little to see if they would fall over and they didn't, so it was fine. By the way, if you use rocks outside, not buying them, you will want to boil them in hot water for 10 minutes. :3

Silicone works but you can also use Super Glue Gel or Crazy Glue Gel. IME adhering the rocks to each other is important. You may go a long time with no problems in an unglued setup and then one day your P. Aurora female is squished under a fallen rock Sad

Thanks I'll give it a go then, I'm not going to rush setting up this tank, I just want to plan carefully beforehand, so everything is setup correctly for the fish. Very Happy

If you use stuff like that, make sure it's clear or it will come out crappy, and be sure it says Non-Toxic. Laughing
