Last night I bought a white and orange fancy goldfish, and I was told it was a pom pon. I can't find any info on him. He is in my 20 gallon with a calico. He is mostly white with orange on his upper fin, about half way up and a orange patch on his forhead. If I can, I will post a pic if I can figure out how to. SO if anyone knows, please help me out _________________ 55 Gallon- Mbuna

well I thought so at first, but the red cap's cap (lol) is kind of rigid and bubbly, my goldfish's is just a different color, not a different texture _________________ 55 Gallon- Mbuna

I'm thinking he is some type of veiltail, or a pompom.....but I'm leaning more towards a veiltail _________________ 55 Gallon- Mbuna

I think its Pom Pon. If you look at the Veiltail's dorsal, it's more flowing and rounded, and the Pom Pon's is straighter, like a Ryukin or Fantail's

Compared to the Veiltail
