A weeks ago me and my dad built average size koi pond out side and moved the five koi we had from the small pond to the new big one then we bought two mre and decided that would be fine. Then we decided it looked a bit plain and decided to buy some PLANTS we bought an already grown lily and some normal weed and put it in along with a non growned bulb in a tub full of white gravel lily form bbq and now two have our fish have died so we where wondering hwat has happened could the plant ahve killed the fish or was it destubence form the other move to the bigger pond help
I don't want to loose any more fish
sorry for the long writing but I need help quick _________________ tank 19"x18"x12" Litres 67.25, Gallons 17.75

| I don't know if people reguraly test pond parameters, but if you do what are they? Did they just dissapear or did you find them dead? If they just dissaperead they could have been eaten by something. |

I'd look more to the transferance and the addition of two new fish. Have you checked ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates? Short version - plants don't kill fish, quite the opposite. _________________ -Molly

one of the new fish that I got is perfectly healthy and I did find the dead bodys of my beloved koi and I is spected them to find no problems whats going on _________________ tank 19"x18"x12" Litres 67.25, Gallons 17.75

sorry , the water parameters are 4 metres by 3 metres two metres depp with someshelves
and nine small koi _________________ tank 19"x18"x12" Litres 67.25, Gallons 17.75

I don't know the fish are outside and we have never checked the water parameters becuase they have been fine in the old pond with the same filter as we have now it has a course and small filtration system and a uv filter to get rid of the green _________________ tank 19"x18"x12" Litres 67.25, Gallons 17.75

| Then since two of your fish have died I would be concerned and even though you haven't before just test the water just to make sure it is fine. |
