Nice! It looks like you have a pretty big tank there. Can you put up some whole tank pictures sometime along with information? Maybe some pics of your plants. I like the background that looks like cylindrical rocks or something...image 4.
I'd like to have a arowana but I'd need about a 150 gallon tank. I wouldn't want a 150 gallon planted tank...no way...it'd be way too cool. *drools* _________________

| He is a golden pearl Arowana. Regarding the cost. I'm not sure. He costs around Rupees 6500 in our currency. I have transfeered him to a new tank. The pics post here include both the new and the old tank. I'll try to get a full tank shot soon. |

I think may be a couple of centimetres longer. He was affected by anchor worms for sometime. Let me tell you one thing he has become extremely aggressive now.
I wanted to ask this: Why does he flair up when he sees anything that is yellow in colour? Has anybody seen this behaviour before? |

| Hmm. What do you mean extremely aggressive? What else do you have in the tank? |

Aggressive in the sense he just gets flaired up when I open the roof for feeding him or when he sees something yellow in colour outside.
I have planned to move him to a 4 feet long tank soon(to be kept in my farmhouse). I had a tough time building that tank. Had to fill up leaks now and then to ensure it is perfect. Right now I'm cycling it.
The tank parameters are:
Length : 4 feet
Breadth: 3 feet(approx)
Height : 5 feet
I felt that increasin the depth would help. I have gone for an under gravel filter. After the backlash I received for my other posting I have decided not to go for any more photograph posting hereafter. I think my Arowana would be happy in the new bigger tank. |

| I would think having a longer tank with dimensions like 8x2x2 would be better for the arowana instead of a deeper tank...how do you view your aro? I think creating a deeper tank might contribute to drop eye as well. |
