most of the times when I visit this site. it keeps saying the operation timed out. My internet is cable and I don't have any problems with it so it must be something on this site.

I thought it was just my work firewall playing silly games. Perhaps not if others suffer as well.

I have firewalls and spysweeper (spyware killer) on my computer. but I turn them off when I surf sites I know are safe like a of a. I also have gotten invalid session while trying to post. to get aroudn that I copy what I had already typed then try to post it agian. it somtime works

FYI,

There has been some routing issues in a LARGE route connection in Washington, DC. I also know that there has been some issues with Level3 to some other providers. Where Level3 has been dumping traffic to the wrong connect to another backbone.

Try ping and traceroutes. See where it dies.

This site is hosted dedicated server from a capable provider.

In layman's terms though, you don't connect from your computer directly to the server that hosts this site. There are many places that you are routed through to get here. Areas that have high level traffic will cause timeouts and other problems.

I, personally. am having no difficulty accessing the site at all right now, but sometimes I do get the occasional time out or browser malfunction. Especially when taking too long to finish a reply.
