I've only seen the first, the Fellowship of the Ring. I personally didn't like it very much (no offense to those who like the LOTR) so I never bothered to see the second and the third movies. I might eventually watch the second and third to see if I like them more but I'll probably just borrow them from a friend. With the first movie I felt sort of ripped off after I paid my $9 at the movie theater just find out that I didn't like it at all.
...But thats just my two cents. |

Lol, maybe I'll try to go see the other two then. I was afraid that they were all as bad as the first. |

I liked the first one better than the second.
Third was good (almost as good as the first one).
But I think it was a bit to long for cinema, they should put in a bathroom break or something.
I'm going to bye it when it comes out on DVD though. _________________ Introduce yourself |

I liked the first one the best. The second had to many made up parts(read the books) the third was better than the second but not as good as the first. _________________ Money talks, bullshit walks

I loved all 3 of them for different reasons, so I can't vote in the poll. They're all great in their own way.
The first establishes everything & introduces the characters and their motives for everything. It shows their progression from friends to family.
The second is the meat of the sandwich, if you will. So much happens! Wow!
The third is filmmaking magic, and cinema artistry at it's finest. It's the reason people love cinema, and I'm not talking about those wastes of time like "Old School." I mean it's the reason people love serious film.
I am beyond thrilled LOTR-ROTK won in all 11 categories tonight. It was so fabulous! I felt sorry for everyone else, though! LOL! They didn't stand a chance.
WOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't see them as three movies, just one long movie. The extended versions are also better. Once the third extended version comes out I think it will be nice to sit down with all three extended version and watch them together. It would have been nice if they could have made five three hour movies so they could have included everything but they did a really good job within the constraints they had to work with. I really miss Tom Bombadil though.

I think they gave it all 11 not just for ROTK but for all the trilogy.
Which isnt really fair to the other movies that was nominated. I would also have liked Sir Ian Mckellen to get an oscar as well as Andy Serkins for Gollum.
To bad the swedish nomination didn't win in best non english film _________________ Introduce yourself |
