| Don't wear gloves, but I keep myself in the quarantine tank for a week before and after to make sure I don't have any diseases. |

I... erm... actually, I do sometimes wear gloves when cleaning up my tank. I'm really paranoid, and am mosltly afraid I'll get some sort of nonexistant parasite on my hands if I put them in my tank, so I sometimes wear gloves. If not, I do what I have to at lightning fast speed and then bolt to the bathroom to rinse off my hand and arms all the way up to the elbows, even if they're not wet. I'm insane. _________________ I lost my sanity, can I have yours? |

Drinking Tank water?!?! Gross! I don't use gloves. But I wash my hands really well before and after.
I got a question, how come when you guys gravel vacum you drink tank water? Don't u just let gravity create suction and all that? Then no putting your mouth dirty plastics.
just a thought,

Urghh, drinking tankwater Actually I have had that experience with the gravel vacuum, I haven't managed to get normal gravity to work. _________________ Eheim Dude #23 at plantedtank.net

I don't think that's at all excessive. I don't wear them but I won't touch anything until I thoroughly wash afterwards. |

I don't but I probably should, one of my shelldweller females keep biting me whener I put my hands to near her territory.
But she is only one inch of fish so I'm not that scared of her.
Funny that the bigger males all hide whenever I clean the tank. _________________ Introduce yourself |
