Thought this would be an interesting discussion. I've read and heard recently that it is advised to wear gloves when cleaning your aquarium due to the fishy bacteria in the water. I know there are certian diseases we can get from fish, but how likely is this and should we be wearing gloves? Curious to hear everyones thoughts on this subject. As of now I have never worn them. Anyone and everyone...whats your thoughts? ~Nancy~ |

I've never worn gloves but I do wash my hands well after wards. _________________ I was wondering why the frisbee got bigger as it got closer

Hi Nancy,
I'm hoping you don't mind but I added an actual poll to your original question just so we can see the numbers. If you'd rather not have it, I can delete it.
Regards,

| Dr.foster&Smith sell "waders for your arms". I however, don't have that much extra change. |

I don't and probably never will. Unless people start catching some kind of lethal diseases!

No, never did. My research at work involves daily manipulation of nasty/deadly things like Lead, Arsenic, Telurium, Osmium, acids, bases, solvents, carcinogens, spontaneously combusting materials, not to mention novel materials we don't even know the hazards of, plus X-Rays, Electron and Neutron Beams, high voltages and currents...THAT'S when I wear gloves. Under this perspective, fiddling with my aquarium is one of the safest and healthiest activities in my life _________________

I don't but I'm allergic to my fish so I have to wash my forearms good and then put lotion on em when I am done or I get a nasty rash and my arms feel like they are on fire. |
