I think if you have open wounds on your hands or arms from scratches and what not you should not put your hands in the tank water, for the benefit of both yourself and your fish. I have never worn gloves though and merely rinse my hands and arms after having been in the water. Neutral

always wash my hands and arms thoroughly before putting them in the tanks - am more worried about what I'll transfer into the tank - Rolling Eyes but I do wash them again after too

Yah, I always feel my hands and arms carefully for soap or lotion residues before I put them in the tank.

On my own tanks at home I never use gloves. However at work, we get in some pretty ill or diseased fish that either fisherman or the public have brought in, then I wear gloves- no way am I catching fish tuberculosis!

Yep I always wash my hands before and after messing around in my tank but BE SURE YOU GET THE SOAP OFF!!! lol Um but I don't wear gloves, no. I don't keep pirahnas or anything Rolling Eyes lol

I wash my hands before and after but don't bother with the gloves. I seem to have the same problem as Rudy though... drinking tank water while syphoning, don't bother with the Clout I prefer Stout, Guiness Stout ;^)
I spend a lot of time fishing and usually wade "wet", I imagine if I were to wind up with some fishy disease I'd have it by now... or maybe the Stout cure is effective.
