OK, let's celebrate all the extra bandwidth of this new Aquahobby.org hosting plan by wasting some of it.
I'm sure we've all been to the Zoo and taken some great pictures of the animals there. How about sharing them and having some fun at the same time with a quick little photo contest?
Here's the on-the-spot made up rules:
1) The first 5 people to add a reply below showing one of THEIR OWN personal photos taken at any zoo or similar place and portraying any animal EXCEPT fish are in the contest. The topic will then be converted into a Poll where everyone else can vote on the best photo during 2 days. Most voted picture is the winner!
2) The image must be loading correctly on the reply itself (not a link to a photo somewhere else) and must not be larger than 640 pixels in any direction. No tampering is allowed except reasonable corrections of brightness/contrast etc.
3) Winner takes home 5 MegaBytes worth of premium quality Aquahobby.com Discussion Board topics, delivered at his/her e-mail address
Who's up for the challenge? _________________

I'm not sure if my picture counts because it was not taken in a Zoo. Last summer my girlfriend and I braved the heat in Joshua Tree NP in California. It looks like this coyote was just as hot as we were.

Since people are slow to post their animal pictures, here are a couple of more by me. Both were taken on a virtually uninhabitated island of the coast of Belize.

Wow Mario, if I'd known you were so desperate to receive 5 MegaBytes worth of premium quality Aquahobby.com Discussion Board topics, I would have SOLD them to you much earlier!
Let's give people at least one day to post a photo, if no one else does we go with your three OK?
EDIT: Metz, you're disqualified for not reading the rules! _________________

OK, does my front yard count? It has been described as a "zoo" before. This is a picture my nine year old son Jeremy took of a California Salamander that he discovered after turning over a piece of driftwood.

Woohoo! Yes those 'backyard photos' are fine. We've got 5 valid entries so I'm converting the topic into a Poll after this. Everyone has 2 days to vote on their favorite! _________________
