I'm new here as well, but not completely new to fish.
I'm a 32 year old mom of 2 who loves my pets to pieces.
I'm not a fish haver, nor a fish keeper. I'm a fish Mommy and a fish lover! Razz My friends think I'm nutz because each time my kribs have fry, I become the excited "mom" saying...I have babies! Razz You'd think I'd laid the eggs. DOH

I started with aquariums about 11 years ago when I got my first 10 gallon. Over time, 2 children and several moves, I decided that I didn't have the time to properly devote to my fish.

That was then...6 years later I decided to restart my love and fascination all over again.

I swear it's addicting and once you've done it you just can't stop!

I currently run 3 tanks.

48 gallon
25 gallon tall
10 gallon

48 gallon= (setup over 2 years old)
2 blood parrots which I've had for 2 years. I fell in love with a friends BP who he's had for almost 15 years now. I've never seen a fish with so much character. 1 mustard spotted pleco, now 2 years old. (he grewup with the parrots). 5 cory's 2 years old as well (grew up with the mustard spot and the parrots). 2 kribs from my first spawn a year ago.

eheim classic cannister
rena 300 with bubble wall on one side
ebo jager heater
temp 78 degrees
pH 6.8

25 gallon= 1 year old setup
Kribensis mated pair. 1 dwarf ancistrus (my mating tank)
aquaclear 150
"deep water" air pump with bubble wall on one side of tank
ebo jager heater
temp 78 degrees
pH 7

10 gallon= (previously established and waiting for my newest batch of babies)
5 krib juveniles now about 2 months old. Mom and dad just decided that they are now "raised" and have decided to breed again. The babies were starting to get chased so it was time to move them. They've been in the 10 gallon for 2 weeks now and doing well.

aqua clear mini
heater
compact lighting (low heat output to avoid temp fluctuations during the day)
temp 78 degrees
pH 7

2 kids
a dog

Cheers,
Candice Very Happy

Also, thank you for moving my post to it's own slot. That was very thoughtful of you.

I'm slowly finding my way around the site and enjoying the different aspects and viewpoints of fishkeeping by the members.

I'm finding it's never too late to learn something new about tanks.

Cheers,
Candice
