I love it....but I think I'm at my fish limit. I do want to add a few more corals and a little more live rock. That's what I love about aquariums your never finished there's always a little something you can do. Smile

Don't mind the glass it needs a scraping. The neverending chore of a reef tank.

Full tank picture as requested:

Equipment:

55 gallon tank 48L X 20H X 13W All-Glass

JBJ Formasa Lighting System 4 X 65watt bulbs 2-10k and 2-Actinic03 for 260 total watts of power compact lighting

Triad 60 HOB filter
Fluval 304 canister filter
Redsea Prizm Protien Skimmer

I'm picking up a HOB refugium to replace the triad next week. It'll have its own seperate lighting and will have bio-sediment and macro-algae in it.

2 powerheads- a Hagen and a Powersweep

approx 50 pounds of live rock mostly Tonga and Fiji

I'm not sure pound wise on the sand. Its sits about 2.5 inches deep when level.

I use Reef Crystals sea salt and dose with mostly Kent and Marc Weiss products. I would switch totally to Marc Weiss his stuff the best but I'm trying to use up my Kent products I have first.

I filter my own water RO/DI

Hmm anything else.

Livestock:

Fish:
Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish(Brutus)
Yellow Tang
Blue Devil Damsel(the granddaddy of the tank. he's gone through 3 tanks with me)
Purple Pseudochromis
Orange spotted Goby
Bi-color blenny

Inverts:
Bubble tip Aneome
Coral banded Shrimp
Cleaner Chrimp
2 Emerald Crabs
Sally Lightfoot crab
blue reef lobster
too many hermits to count 30-ish
too many snails to count 25-ish
stotamela- I killed the spelling

Corals:
too many

frogspawn
colt
1000's of zoanthids
alveopora
xenia
shrooms
ricordea
open brain
bubble
Green star polyps
candy
A few misc leathers
small favia

More pics

Wow, I'm surprised how great your tank is doing! It cleared up so fast! Wonderful coloration on your pictured species, and keep up the good work!! Very Happy Every update you post only makes it look like it's been around for a few more months, or even a year! I'm no saltwater keeper ( Sad At least now, but I want to be someday...) but I can tell a healthy tank from an unhealthy tank!

Ready for a few disguised compliments? All right, then! Very Happy

After following this thread, for what, little more than a month, I have concluded that you are <<cough-cough AHEM addicted AHEM>> ...quite worthy of praise!

Congrats on the, err, cleavage (?) of your Xenia! Smile And Mon DIEU, the Colt Coral is pretty!

...And still, though I am monumentally jealous of your Frogspawn (it's just the coolest lookin' stuff, I have to say), I must admit I'm a bit miffed. -There are NO recent pictures of your Spotted Goby! Crying or Very sad That's all right... I'll live. <<Melodramatically handing back the spot light>>

As for the photograph of your Blenny... Could he get any cuter? I don't think so! Rolling Eyes Keep us posted!
