| Which species do you like better. I have a 40 gallon tank that I want to put them in, but I think I can only have one of these two species. So please share some experiences, which is easier to keep, more interesting, etc. I do not want a fish that comes to the front of the tank when I am there, that gets annoying. I want fish that just do there own thing. They will be in a tank with cory cats, glass cats, a bristlenose, and rubberlip pleco, and kuhlis. Thanks! |

| Once they settle they follow you around. My Geos will play fetch with a ping pong ball. |

| Thats really neat! Have you ever kept bolivian rams? I like them because they look like geophagus. |

| I have kept them and lots of other SA cichlids but you don't have an appropriate tank for any. |

I have bolivian rams and they are intelligent and entertaining fish, and I personally love the more subtle colors.
