|
|
Hey,
So I decided against the american cichlids and decided to go with the SA dwarf cichlids set-up.
I've got a piece of bogwood but I am going to get more also I'm putting in live plants but since they dig I will put stone on the base or something.
I plan on putting 2 female angelfish in there also and some cories.
Also a pair of BN plecs to breed. The tank is a 180 litre.
My possible stocking is:
1 electric blue ram
1 german blue ram
1 bolivian ram
2 of some sort of apisto's
2 some sort of apisto's
2 bristlenose plec
2 female angel's
3-4 cories of some sort
If you think my stocking is bad please correct me or if If I should have a pair of rams or something. THANK YOU! |

Won't work.
Several reasons;- too many territorial fish occupying the same part of the tank.
Poor population dynamics.
What is the tapwater pH & GH? |

Why so many fish? Tanks with fewer species are a lot nicer, IMO.
German blues and Bolivians require much different water parameters.
Electric blues are a color morph of German Blues.
Female angels can be territorial just like males... why two and not just one?
Why two pair of apistos?
If you're planning on breeding bristlenose, there are a lot of fish in there that would eat eggs/fry.
Corydoras do better in numbers of at least 6.
Personally, I would choose either a pair of rams OR a pair of apistos, a bristlenose, a group of one species of corydoras, and perhaps a small group of one species of dither fish. _________________ Dumpster Tank

| How about you list the tanks and fish you already have so they can be sorted out before you start looking for more fish? |

The other tanks are fine no deaths at all 100% truth.
I got this tank and it will be my last and all I want is advice for the stocking.
Is the stocking I listed just there alright?? |

No deaths yet doesn't mean the fish will thrive long term.
You completely missed the point of nikelodeon79's post.
What fish do you have and what tanks and we can probably sort them so you can have sustainable set ups? |
