Yes I know but I removed the shark and the loaches to a 200 litre tank.
I won't be keeping the firemouth in there when he's bigger and same with the tiger barbs.I added 3 odessa barbs and some floating plants.
The tigers started shoaling immediately!!
I agree that the Tiger Barbs need a bigger tank. I had them in a 55 gln. (208 ltr.) tank and they used the whole tank. Since they tend to be very nippy fish - they do much better in larger schools where they can focus on each other instead of other fish in the tank.
Your smaller tank would be better for a small group of tetras and maybe a few Cories. _________________ 135 gln. freshwater tank

What are you going to do when the tiger barbs grow? They should reach nearly full size in a few months and then they will not "enjoy" themselves.
Please don't base your stocking on the short term overstocking done in stores and forget buying more fish until you have suitable accommodation for the fish you already have.
If a tank looks empty address the decor.
