Mock up of the rock wall and driftwood for a waterfall effect in the 20 Gal tall for the bedroom.
Plan is to have a well planted tank with CO2 injection, 24" fixture w/ 4 T5s, all tiny fish, shrimp, and snails.
I have several the majority of the plants, 5 microrasbora, 5 cherry shrimp, 4 pygmy corys, and 3 nano cats in a 10 gallon in another room for when the tank is ready.
Top and front view of most of the layers in place. Deviated from the mock up on the 3rd or 4th layer...
All layers of the rock wall in place, and the driftwood is siliconed in place. Sand is from covering exposed silicon so it doesn't look like silicon
Substrate in place (flourite) waiting for it to settle to plant.
Majority of the plants are in place. Using an old heater to prep the water temp. HOB filter in place, light fixture, and CO2 injection system in place.
Tank is complete. Fish are in, the right heater is in. Now I just need to wait for the plants to grow out, and to continue stocking. |

Oooo I really like it. I wasn't sure when I saw just the rocks and wood but with the plants it looks great! And it will look amazing once it all grows, too. _________________ In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |

| Flourite substrate sure gives a tank a very warm and tropical look. The hanging anubias is neat. |
