I got this a few days ago from my neighbour because he was giving up the hobby.his work schedule has just got too much..

I got all fish,bogwood,filter,heater,lights etc etc...for

You need to start thinking about a much larger tank or rehoming some of those fish.
Fish that grow to a foot long have no place in tanks that size and you have a very high stock without the potential biggies.
I don't like plastic plants but before you change them you need to consider the substrate and lighting.

Easiest is to start by fixing Java fern to the wood.

the guy I got it from,was going to get another tank.6ft plus,but due to work commitments and looming house move he has given up the hobby.

I do realise that some of the fish will need rehoming soon.

the tank is 200L 3ft 3".

I do have other tanks,that some of the fish will be moved into.

I have split my huge java fern from my bigger tank and planted into onto the
wood on the right.

the first I hope to re-home is the pleco...but only to someone with a big tank...

the clown loaches will go into my larger tank soon.it has a lot more areas of cover
for them to hide up in..when they get too big for that tank I will sell them on and re invest the money into my hobby.

I've been keeping fish for years.my father was a breeder and keeper for over 30 years,so have a good grasp overall of fishkeeping.

when I was younger we had tanks everywhere about 20 including a big pond in the garden.I loved it and still do.....

the pleco and clown loaches are now in my other tank and seem to be a lot happier.
the clownies are very active.

lots more hiding places for them aswell
